TradeSource Privacy Policy

TradeSource, Inc. (“TradeSource,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit tradesource.com (the “Site”), apply for or accept work through TradeSource, or otherwise interact with us — including through phone calls, text messages, email, or our AI-assisted recruiting tools (collectively, our “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact and identity information — name, phone number, email address, mailing address, and similar identifiers.
  • Employment and trade information — trade or occupation, licenses and certifications (and the states that issued them), years of experience, current employment status, work authorization status, desired pay rate, availability, and related application or placement information.
  • Communications data — the content of calls, texts, emails, or web forms you exchange with our recruiters or with our AI Virtual Recruiter, including recordings or transcripts where applicable (see Section 4).
  • Technical and usage information — standard information collected automatically when you visit the Site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed, primarily through server logs necessary to operate the Site securely (see Section 5 on cookies).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Evaluate your qualifications and match you with job opportunities;
  • Contact you by phone, text, or email about job openings, screening questions, interviews, and placement updates;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our recruiting tools, including our AI Virtual Recruiter;

3. Text Messaging (SMS) and Automated / AI-Assisted Calls

As part of our recruiting process, TradeSource uses an AI-assisted virtual recruiting service (“AI Virtual Recruiter”) to reach candidates by text message and by phone. If you provide your mobile number to TradeSource, you may receive automated text messages and phone calls — including calls that use an AI-generated voice — asking about topics such as your current employment status, trade and licensing, years of experience, work authorization, and desired pay rate, and to schedule interviews or share job opportunities.

  • Consent and opt-out. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you may ask to stop receiving calls at any time by telling the recruiter (human or AI) that you wish to be removed, or by contacting us using the information in Section Consent to be contacted is never a condition of employment or placement.
  • Message and data Message and data rates may apply to text messages, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. See our Terms & Conditions for full SMS program terms.
  • Call recording and AI disclosure. Some calls placed by our AI Virtual Recruiter may be recorded or transcribed for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes. Where state law requires the consent of all parties to a call before it is recorded (as in several of the states where we operate), we will disclose that the call may be recorded and that you are speaking with an

AI-assisted system at the start of the call; continuing the call constitutes your consent, and you may decline and ask to speak with a human recruiter instead.

  • No sale of consent data. The information you provide to opt in to text messaging, and any originator consent or opt-in data associated with SMS messaging, is not sold or shared with any third parties, other than the service providers who operate our messaging platform on our behalf (see Section 6).

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

TradeSource does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or similar third-party tracking technologies on the Site beyond what is technically necessary for the Site to function (for example, basic server logs used for security and performance). If this changes — for example, if we add analytics or advertising tools — we will update this Policy accordingly.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who perform functions on our behalf under contract, such as our AI Virtual Recruiter platform provider (Sense HQ), our applicant tracking system, background check and drug screening vendors, IT and hosting providers, and similar vendors, each of whom is authorized to use your information only as needed to provide services to us.
  • Contractor clients, to the extent necessary to evaluate you for a specific job
  • Legal and safety purposes, where required to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, or safety of TradeSource, our staff, or others.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

*All the above excludes text messaging originator consent and opt-in data; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You may:

  • Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or request help by replying HELP;
  • Ask to stop receiving calls, including AI-assisted calls, at any time;
